It was her initial desire to be a conscientious mother that led her to look into—and ultimately uncover—the disturbing landscape of modern pornography and its impact on teenagers. Since then, it has morphed into a passion project for Stephanie Boye to see that everyone becomes “porn literate” to fully grasp the manipulation pornography has on intimacy, love and sexual engagement.

A creative director, former LA clothing designer and current sexual assault counselor, Stephanie Boye is pulling back the curtain on societal norms to address teenage sex, pornography and its impact on the mental and emotional wellbeing of adolescents everywhere. With a documentary on the way and podcast dedicated to her mission, Stephanie is also a wife and mother to three teenagers.
