TEDxCharleston 2024 event to be held on Wednesday, April 17 at Charleston Music Hall
CHARLESTON, SC, February 5, 2024: Tickets for the 2024 TEDxCharleston event, hosted at Charleston Music Hall on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, are now on sale. Go here to purchase tickets online or visit the Charleston Music Hall box office at 37 John Street, Charleston.
Tickets include full access to the half-day event at Charleston Music Hall and a VIP after party immediately following at the Sharehouse across the street.
The event kicks off at 12:30 pm and features a lineup of inspiring and entertaining talks and performances from Charleston locals, on a wide range of topics in health, science, social issues, technology and more. It also includes coffee and refreshments from local cafes and bakeries. The VIP After Party is hosted at the The Sharehouse with live music, entertainment, food and a cash bar –and a chance to connect with TEDxCharleston presenters and attendees.
TEDxCharleston draws nearly 1,000 in person participants each year, plus an extensive on-line following, and is a part of the renowned ‘TED Talks’ which provides Charleston residents with an exclusive platform to share ideas worth spreading.
The 2024 theme is Uncharted. As uncertainty permeates seemingly every aspect of our lives, we continue to find ourselves in new and unexplored realities. Distilling truth becomes more challenging in our increasingly uber connected world, while the prospect of artificial intelligence entices and threatens us at the same time. But beacons of hope, honesty and humanity give us hope for the future, a confidence that we will be able to navigate what seem like uncharted waters. An exciting lineup of speakers and performers will explore many important and inspiring ideas at the 20243 TEDxCharleston event, appropriately themed “Uncharted.” Check out the 2024 lineup of speake4rs and performers here.
TEDxCharleston is thrilled to follow up a successful 2022 and 2023 events where three of the presenters in 2022 were selected and distributed to the global TED network, including Sam Norton, Karen Perlmutter, and Dr. John Rhodes, and Natalie Hauff was similarly selected in 2023
