TEDxCharleston postpones April 1 Event

It is with great sadness that we have made the extremely difficult decision to postpone this year’s TEDxCharleston event, scheduled for April 1 at the Charleston Music Hall.

The health and safety of everyone involved with TEDxCharleston is our primary concern and the uncertainty and quickly changing impact of the Coronavirus situation guides us to operate with an abundance of caution. While our understanding about the depth of the virus’ impact on the Charleston area is still evolving, we do know that during times like these, gatherings of large numbers of people bring risk.

Our fantastic speakers and our amazing team of volunteers have been working hard to make this year’s TEDxCharleston experience memorable for all the right reasons, and I’m sure you will be as disappointed, as we all are, that it won’t be happening as scheduled.

We look forward to getting together at a later date this year, which we will announce in due course.

Coronavirus is a reminder of the interconnected world we live in, and our thoughts are with the thousands of people affected by the current outbreak.

Please see below for ticket information.
We’ll be in touch again as soon as our plans a revised date are confirmed. Until then, our entire team is grateful for your continued support.
