That’s the goal of the annual conference TEDx Charleston, an independent effort of the global group TED, which focuses on technology, engineering, and design.
This year, nearly 600 people were expected to pack Charleston’s Memminger Auditorium, up from 150 last year. TEDx committee member Rachel Hutchisson said the event sold out in five days.
