Born in Uganda before General Idi Amin Dada seized power in a military coup, and having fled as a refugee to Kenya, this 2014 TEDxCharleston speaker is the founder of the Global Soap Project, a 2011 CNN Hero and current CEO of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Back as our emcee, Derreck Kayongo, has fun as a fashionista extraordinaire having learned as a model for his mother’s creations.
