Seems like only yesterday we wrapped up our 2026 event, but we’re already looking ahead to TEDxCharleston 2027. We’re looking for the next group of thinkers, storytellers, creators, and changemakers to step onto the red dot, as speakers and performers alike.
Speaker and performer applications open August 24 and close October 18, 2026.
Ideas that make people question what they know, see something differently, or leave wanting to do something about it.
Your talk or performance can come from science, medicine, technology, business, culture, history, art, social issues, or somewhere we haven’t considered yet. What matters is that it’s original, authentic, accurate, and worth sharing. No politics, religion, sales pitches, or pseudoscience, please.
If you think you have a great idea, we want to hear it. You could join the dozens of Lowcountry leaders, thinkers, and changemakers who’ve made an impact from our Red Dot.
TEDxCharleston is an immersion experience at the intersection of science, art, performance and business. TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 30 years ago, TED has grown to support its mission with multiple initiatives. The two annual TED Conferences invite the world’s leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes or less. Many of these talks are then made available, free, at TED.com.
