TEDxCharleston seeks performers, speakers on virtues of embracing chaos – Charleston Regional Business Journal

TEDxCharleston organizers are accepting applications through Oct. 14 for speakers and performers for the spring 2015 event, themed “Embrace Chaos.”

The third annual event is modeled after TED, a nonprofit that has been hosting talks about “ideas worth spreading” for 30 years.

Chosen speakers for the Charleston event are expected to share ideas that teach how to use chaos for creativity and change, according to a news release.

Organizers are looking for speakers and performers in areas such as the environment, education, parenting, philanthropy, technology, arts, food, fashion and health care.
